Sticks at the ready!

This evening, years five and six took part in a hockey tournament (at Aldershot and Farnham Hockey Club) against a range of schools in Aldershot and the surrounding areas. With a new side this year, the children worked really hard as a team. Unfortunately, one school could not make it, therefore Newport only played three games. Their first match went really well with a draw, but we lost our focus on the second match and lost. However, the children wanted to end on a high, winning the match 3-0! I was really pleased with their behaviour and would like to say a big thank you to the parents/grandparents for taking the children.
